Paul, the Misunderstood Apostle, is often used as an example to not believe in or to misunderstand the gospel of Christ.
The Apostle Paul
Initially, Paul, and Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin, was being paid to kill off the disciples of Christ. Paul was rich, connected to powerful people, revered for his intellect and part of the bloodline of the true Hebrew people.

Scripture: Acts 26:2-5
- 2 I think myself happy, king Agrippa, because I shall answer for myself this day before thee touching all the things whereof I am accused of the Jews:
- 3 Especially because I know thee to be expert in all customs and questions which are among the Jews: wherefore I beseech thee to hear me patiently.
- 4 My manner of life from my youth, which was at the first among mine own nation at Jerusalem, know all the Jews;
- 5 Which knew me from the beginning, if they would testify, that after the most straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee.
Paul said he was a pharisee. A pharisee is a teacher and enforcer of the Mosaic law.
Paul the Teacher of Christ
After his Biblical introduction to Christ on the road to Damascus, Paul began his infamous ministry using all that he knew about the laws and commandments of the Hebrews and also all that Christ had showed him.
Paul was then to minister to the very people he was once hunting to imprison or kill. Obviously, he was mistrusted and Misunderstood even back then. It has continued to this day.
