Developing and implementing a digital strategy
Being a Microsoft Showcase School is about more than just the use of technology. It is about thought leadership, pioneering practices, and helping others in the community to develop. We are incredibly fortunate to work with so many wonderful schools and colleges who proactively engaging the wider community through various events, opening their doors to welcome other teachers and school leaders in sharing best practices and strategies.

June's event at Repton School will focus on exploring the issues in developing and implementing a digital strategy at a school, and its impact on teaching and learning, as what this means in broader terms for a whole school and its stakeholders.
Lee Alderman (Director of ICT) will talk about the 'The Repton Journey', and exploring the themes and topics of the day through the stories of students, teachers and staff. A separate session will examine the use of Microsoft Surface in the classroom, and Microsoft Education UK will be delivering a keynote presentation, as well as demoing some of the latest product innovations for the classroom. Finally, Microsoft partner Insight will be concluding the half-day event with a session on 'Introducing a Microsoft Surface Scheme'.
The conference is aimed at both primary and secondary schools in the maintained and independent sector and is free to attend. It will be of interest to governors, headmasters and other senior leaders and heads of ICT/digital strategy.
