In Windows 10, when you click on the File Explorer in task bar, it opens quick access items by default. Quick items consist of frequent folders and recently opened files. The Quick Access view is similar to the ‘All My Files’ option in Mac OS X, showing users their frequently accessed folders and documents. This may seem a good option if you open the file explorer for frequently opened items.

Using Folder Options
The option of changing the File Explorer default from Quick Access to This PC can be accessed from Folder Options.
click on start menu and select file Explorer or Open File Explorer useing key board (Windows key + E) and go to View tab Select Options from the ribbon
Now Under General Tab, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
That's all when you launch a new Explorer window, you’ll start at This PC, which you’re probably used to from past versions.
Using Windows Registry
First To open Registry Editor click on start menu and type Regedit and click on it.
This will present Registry window on your screen.
Now Navigate to following Registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
From the right hand pane, double click Launch To entry to edit and change its value from 2 to 1
The setting is instant and you don’t need to restart Windows Explorer for the setting to take effect.
Now, when you launch a new Explorer window, you’ll start at This PC, which you’re probably used to from past versions.
