The Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards (BBEA) celebrates and showcases the resilience, innovation and creativity of British businesses.

We are proud to have beaten off stiff competition to become a finalist in multiple categories in the Lloyds Bank Business Excellence Awards 2021. These categories include:

The Small to Medium Business of the Year Award

Celebrating the contribution of SMEs to the UK economy, this award recognises the small-to-medium-sized business that has maintained consistent growth and strong financial performance, understands its customer, has an engaged workforce with effective leadership, demonstrates effective use of technology and digital media to engage with its stakeholders (customers, employees, etc.) and is continually innovating to support future growth.

The Employer of the Year Award

This award celebrates organisations that went the extra mile to support not only their employees but also the communities in which they operate. This includes how employees are engaged in company values and how human resources have been optimised to achieve and sustain the commercial operation. It also recognises the investment in people, initiatives to create a more collaborative culture, and the impact this has had on commercial performance.

The Business Enabler of the Year Award

This award celebrates businesses that help their customers or clients increase sales and profitability and gain a competitive advantage over their rivals. It recognises the impact of enablers that offer value beyond products, infrastructure and services.

The LDC Entrepreneur of the Year Award

Focusing on the contribution of a dynamic, creative and visionary leader, this award recognises an enterprising individual who has achieved sustained levels of growth and strong financial performance through a culture of innovation and resilience, and an ability to inspire others through their leadership style.

The Scale-up Business of the Year Award

Recognising a market leading increase in sales, headcount, profitability, market share or geographical expansion in recent years, this award will go to the business demonstrating the highest levels of growth and a robust plan to deliver a sustainable financial performance.

All finalists will present to the judging panel in September, then the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in November.
