Tutorial To Create XML Sitemap:

1) To get started, go to XML-sitemaps.com.

2) Once you’re in the home of XML-sitemaps.com, you will see the XML sitemap generation form. Now, enter your website URL and choose the change frequency (frequency of time you use to update your website), Last modification time and Priority. Once done, click on “Start” button to begin creating XML for your website.

3) Now, XML-Sitemaps will analyze all the pages in your website and create the XML sitemap.

4) Once the sitemap generation is over, you can see the message “Your Sitemap Is Ready“.

That’s it. Now you have finished creating XML sitemap for your website. Let’s find out how to add this generated sitemap in your website.

Tutorial To Add XML Sitemap In Your Website:

1) To get started, log into your web-server either using FTP (using FTP clients like Filezilla, etc.,) or using cPanel. For this tutorial, I am going to use cPanel. Once you’re logged into your cPanel, open “File Manager” which will be under the Files Tab. While doing so, make sure that you have enabled “Show Hidden Files” as shown in the screenshot below.

2) Now in cPanel File Manager, click on “Public_html” to open its folder. Now, download the XML sitemap which you have created by following the tutorial given above. Once downloaded, upload the sitemap file in the “Public_html” folder.

3) That’s it. Now you have successfully uploaded the sitemap in your website. For confirmation, enter the following URL “www.yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml” in your browser address bar (replace yourdomain.com with your domain name) and check whether the page is loading properly. If it does, then you have done the job properly!
