Step 1:

Initially you need to sign-in YouTube Account. In the upper right corner, click Upload button. Create YouTube channel with first and last name.

Step 2:

You can find Live Streaming at right side then click get started. In the left under live streaming click events and then enable live streaming by verifying with your mobile number. Please agree terms and conditions. If you have already verified your mobile number move to step 3.

Step 3:

Now your account have been enabled for live streaming. Click on create live event and give video title of screen casting.

Then you have to set video privacy to either Private or Unlisted and then click on Go Live Now button.

Step 4:

Then it will open Hangouts with the Air page. Camera icon should be turn off for webcam recording and turn off microphone icon if you don’t need to record audio.

Step 5:

Then you should click screenshare button which is in the left as mentioned below image and select desired window for recording screencast. Make note that if you are using the virtual desktop it will show only program windows which are active in the existing desktop.

Step 6:

Click start screenshare button to share your screen and start broadcast to start recording the screen. Since it will be the private session no one can watch your broadcast while it is recording. When you have completed recording click stop broadcast button.

That’s all. Now your videos will be visible here (youtube.com/my_videos) and you can see your recorded screencast video.
