We are not going to use any plugins. The whole process is done with the help of some selected websites.

Method 1: How to create sitemap manually with xml-sitemaps.com?

Follow the steps I have given below.

Step 1: Go to xml-sitemaps.com by clicking the link or copying the URL into the address bar of your browser.

Step 2: At first, type the full address of your website into the first given field. The second field allows you to set the timing of sitemap’s update. If your website is a news based one, you should choose hourly. Or else, go with daily. There is no need to alter the rest of the options.

Step 3: Click Start. Now, you will see a screen like the below given image. It indicates that the sitemap creation is in progress.

Finally, you will be provided with download links like this.

Step 4: I recommend going with the XML sitemap. So, download the XML file and go to your site’s file manager (either in cPanel or any FTP utility).

Step 5: Upload the downloaded XML file into the root folder. That’s all. Now, you can see the sitemap by going to yoursite.com/sitemap.xml.

Method 2: How to Create Sitemap Manually Using SmallSEOTools?

SmallSEOTools is an excellent collection of SEO tools that every digital marketer needs.

Step 1: Go to SmallSEOTool’s sitemap creation page by clicking here.

Step 2: Enter your URL with htttp://, choose change frequency, tick the captcha box and finally hit that green Generate sitemap button.

Step 3: Wait for some time to allow the website to come up with the sitemap.

Step 4: Download the file and follow Step 4 in the above method. That’s all.
