The 2014 Gartner Magic Quadrant report for ECM is now available. We’re pleased that Gartner has listed Newgen Software Technologies limited as a Visionary in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Content Management.

The ECM space has evolved a lot in the past few years and so has the Newgen ECM product suite. Our ECM vision has always been to “Enable Digital Transformation for our customers by seamless and secure delivery of the RIGHT content in the RIGHT context, driving HIGHER VALUE BUSINESS DECISIONS”.

We are continuously working on incorporating new age technologies in our product portfolio and our technical architecture vision comprises of the following focus areas:

Virtual, Transparent & Secure Content Delivery

Newgen ECM Suite leverages Virtual Repository Services to orchestrate multiple content repositories across the Enterprise to leverage content and deliver context based content views. It works through federation, rules engine, and open standards such as CMIS. We are working on extending this framework to both in-premise and hybrid cloud deployments. This is a key architectural direction of our ECM product line.

Analytics Everywhere

We are integrating advanced analytics capabilities to deliver business value throughout the content lifecycle. Moving forward we will continue to enhance our strengths in auto classification, auto suggestions, predictive and adaptive analytics, in-context content rendering, etc.

Cloud as Primary Delivery Model

Cloud is our primary option for developing any new Composite Content Application (CCA) or integrating with any new value added offering. Our solutions are already available on world’s leading cloud infrastructures including Amazon Web Services.

Mobility First

We have a very comprehensive Mobility Platform comprising of Mobile Capture, Mobile ECM, and Mobile BPM. We have demonstrated market leadership in Mobile Capture and Extraction, with significant customer wins across all geographies. Recently launched Newgen Enterprise Mobility Platform (NEMP) enables rapid development of process centric, context aware, and device independent mobile apps with rich imaging capabilities.

We are excited about this achievement of being placed in the ‘Visionary’ quadrant^# and we believe it validates the fact that Newgen’s ECM product vision is in line with current and future technology trends.
