A Brief History of Agile

Around the 30s, physicist Walter Schuhart uses the iterative Plan-Do-Study-Act process, which he shares with his student, William Deming (we now know this approach to control the Deming Cycle).   • People and interactions are more important than processes and tools. If your team has principles, traditions, structures, tools, or conditions that interfere with the work, then you should get rid of them.
