Vote for Internet Society Special Interest Groups (SIGs) a.k.a the Internet Society 2022 Special Interest Group Topics.

The ISOC UK England Chapter, which I am a proud member, has a reminder interest by me, nd by all of you who want to be part of the Wide Worrld that on 25 August the call for voting for Special Interest Groups went live  to take part and vote for the Special Interest Groups (SIGs), the Internet Society should look up the next 2022. The effectiveness of an interest group can, paradoxically, be inversely proportional to its size in some cases.

Interest groups impact upon public policy in several ways.  Firstly, when legislation is being prepared, those drafting it consider the likely impact upon any specific and identifiable groups.  They consider the likely effect on the population as a whole, which is normally beneficial, but also consider any sub-groups of that population which might be adversely affected.

The Internet Society is a delicate mixture of a  bunch of people, experts amd geniuses, fom all over the World, who work together o undesrtand and deliver the best practices and tools our current society demands.

Not necessarily being you, dearets reader,  an engineer, neither a nerd, you may vote the options wanted ot choosn by yours. and choose your fiv most preferred topics from the list given. Som etem as follows: Access: Infrastructure and Equipment, Internet of Things: Food, Smart Businesses, Cities & Agriculture, Cyberethics, Internet Sustainability: Greening the Internet, etcetera

Said it all, You may want to create a pofile, join this marvelous goup, and register yourself here. Being myself a member since 1997,  loosing my account, recovering my membership in 2004. I can ensue it is ot a complicated thing to do.

Once done, you can vote and kiss in English, Spanish or French. Because they speak several languafes,

Tomorow is the last day. Self-awareness is often of more importance than the numbers in an interest group. Your turn.
