The new major version of VLC 2.1.3 numbered and named "Ricewind" is available and comes with many new features.
We first mention the redesign of core audio (new rendering pipeline, better management of volume and different devices), the management of the encoding and decoding equipment, preparation for support Ultra-HD and that particular care to improve the support of current formats and new formats and metadata (tags and covers for Ogg, AVI, MP4 and MKV for example).
