About the Job:
Working in a senior and confident Enterprise architecture team, our clients engage CBI to affect our network engineering and designs in their organizations. We are looking for someone who wants to remain technically hands on while evolving into a leadership role. This person is comfortable with working on different projects simultaneously while maintaining superior uptime. If you're an expert, with value of domain expertise, we would like to meet you.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems is preferred; however stellar work experience and Industry Certifications in place of degree is acceptable
- 10-12 years of hands-on network engineering experience is required
- Enterprise architecture network system directory experience required
- Highly Fluent in Cisco Networking Configuration, troubleshooting is required
- One or more certifications: CCNA, VM Ware, MCSE, Citrix, etc.
- Experience with Cisco 12000 Series, 6500 Series and 6500 Series Service Modules, Nexus 7000 (a plus)
Responsibilities
- Focused on owning and delivering strategies and architectures to support client's business
- Utilize expertise on network architecture, protocols, platforms and design best practices
- Understanding of authentication and access management technologies
- Design, Configure, Support and Troubleshoot technical, procedural and logistical problems
- Manage client expectations and work with the various personalities of client IT organizations
- Designing and implementation of large enterprise and service provider networks
- Research new technologies, products and protocols
- Completing projects and tasks independently with limited direct supervision
