Senior Software Engineer
This position is immediate and ongoing within a highly skilled software engineering group at a strategic technology management company. This position is for a talented senior software engineer who has a Strong command of web technologies, API development, and strong Ruby experience.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Experience developing complex Ruby or Rails-based applications
* Experience developing and consuming HTTP/REST-based APIs
* Working Knowledge of relational data stores, such as MySQL or Postgres
* Strong Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts, algorithms, and data structures
* Sharp interdisciplinary domain-modeling experience
* Comprehension of full lifecycle application development
* Working knowledge of git-based workflows
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Not necessary, but desired:
* Working knowledge of caching strategies at multiple levels (request, data access, DB)
* Familiarity with message technologies such as AMQP (RabbitMQ) and intergration into web technologies
