Role:
The Trading Solutions Gateway team is looking for skilled developers seeking a demanding role to work on its message processing, workflow engine and delivery platform. The system balances numerous requirements while merging compiler design, graph algorithms, ETL design, real-time processing, systems programming, and human computer interaction (for graph-based message transformations) - as well as anything else that will come up.
Responsibilities:
Gateway is being extended for routing and processing heavy traffic loads across an array of circumstances. Upcoming work includes support for asynchronous workflows, faster fault-recovery, message enrichment, additional delivery mechanisms and message formats, and a streamlined user-interface - all within a high throughput/low latency/secure server environment. Developers can expect to contribute immediately.
Requirements:
- Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in C++, C# or Java, with a very thorough understanding of the underlying systems they've worked on.
- Mastery of data structures/algorithms/architecture.
- Experience designing and writing quality multi-threaded applications.
- Strong object-oriented skills and experience applying modern design patterns. Functional programming skills are a plus.
- Experience designing and implementing network protocols for correctness, robustness, and performance.
- Experience with UI frameworks / usability / event driven programming.
- WPF is a plus.
- Understanding of security risks and SQL is a plus.
