Job Description:
The Environment and Release Analyst (ERA) will be required to support all of the environments between Development and Production. This will include researching, debugging, and resolving configuration issues (except code changes), coordinating and executing the build out of new environments, as well as being responsible for and keeping all maintained environments in a Prod-like state. The successful candidate will also be responsible for upholding and enforcing the Environment and Release Management Guiding Principles. ERA's will control and execute the deployment of code to maintained environments, through both automation and manual deployments. ERA's will setup and maintain deployment automation techniques.
Skills:
4 year degree in an IT field related to Environment and Release Management
Ability to evaluate the current environment, gather needs, and propose a recommended solution within the guidelines of the overall environmental standards.
Detail oriented, organized/Excellent customer service and communication.
Experience:
Comfortable working as part of a large project with strict deadlines and high standards for accuracy.
Design, improvement, support, and enforcement of Environment and Release processes and policies.
Deployment automation thru packaging build deliverables, database deliverables, and other deliverables.
Knowledge of compilers, continuous build technologies, and development technology build mechanisms. Preferred Part of a production support team.
Development (.NET, SQL)
Specific Technical Skills and Experience:
4 years-TFS administration 2008, 2013/IIS 8.5
2 years-SQL Server 2008 or Newer/Oracle/Unix Windows Server 2003, 2008, R2, 2012
1 years-Cloud (Amazon)-.NET Development
Travel outside onsite Location: Less than 5%
Timings: May require non-standard hours when supporting deployments that need to take place outside of the working business hours (8-5).
