Requirement Details
This position requires some one who has done Rates etrading support in a front office role (Supporting trading of ebonds, eIRD)

Must have worked on ION or Broadway (any other electronic trading application experience)
Must have strong SQL (Sybase and Oracle)
Must have strong Scripting (Shell, Perl, Windows)
UNIX and Windows experience
Perl/Python will be nice to have
FIX Protocol experience is nice to have
They need people who speak very well as this is front office role

Providing functional and technical help around the relevant systems to users world wide by (not exhaustive)
o Ensure mapping of counterparties between systems
o Ensure platforms admin in relation with system providers, both internal and external.
o Dealing with STP (straight thru processing) issues.
o Work within the 24x7 rota, this is on an “on-call” basis.
o Conform to all internal polices and procedures.
o Manage customer relations when dealing directly with both internal and external users of the systems.
o Develop good relations with the business (FO, MO/Risk, BO), follow relationship with third parties, manage / assist members of team (business or technical analysts)
o Liaise with users and developers.

• Working both within the team responsible, or alone when requested, to act as, or in conjunction with a specific project manager:- (non-exhaustive)
o Building of project plans
o Assisting in the completion and timely delivery of projects
o Testing, including writing test scripts, for new releases.
o Assist the tracking of both time and resources on the projects.
o Documentation

o Maintain and improve customer satisfaction (internal and external)
o Perform assigned responsibilities in a professional manner, and in accordance with company policy.
o Timely reporting within the IT department’s time tracking system.
o Timely reporting of incidents, outages, system errors and possible enhancements within the appointed system
o Maintain awareness of the regulatory markets and competitive environment.
o Maintain awareness of current technological developments, both internally and externally to the firm
