Key responsibility
Multiple upgrades with minimal supervision
Modelling Business process, writing Technical specification, Process Cash Payments and extensive knowledge of Montran GPS and OFAC.
Tech skills required are UNIX Shell, SQL (SQL Server and Oracle), Windows and PowerShell
Ideally our pay range will be in $750/day on w2 or upto $825/- a day on C2C

Payment System Specialist needed in NYC for a major financial firm in mid-town
Assignment description | PRIMARY FUNCTION: Ideal candidate must have strong functional and technical knowledge of payment system applications. This includes SWIFT, FED, CHIPS and MQ Series. Candidate will work on multiple payment system application projects including upgrades, migrations and implementations. The following are pluses [in order of importance] 1. Knowledge of payment systems (MONTRAN GPS will be highly preferred) 2. Knowledge of OFAC and/or Fircosoft application 3. Knowledge of Banking back office systems and processes Main Responsibilities: - Lead upgrade / migration of USD payments platform from VMS to Unix - Develop business requirements and create technical specifications and diagrams - Perform functional, technical and project management related tasks and activities - Liaise with multiple departments including Back Office, IT Infrastructure and Compliance - Development in MS SQL,PL/SQL, Unix shell script and Windows Powershell Required Skills: - Must have strong technical and functional knowledge of payment systems including SWIFT, FED, CHIPS and MQ Series and applications architecture - Must have strong analytical skills - Must have strong organization and project management skills - Must have strong technical skills including the following tools: MS SQL, PL/SQL , Unix Shell scripting and Powershell - Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner and self-starter - Possess strong verbal and written communication skills |
