PC activity monitor software

A Software that keeps records of actions taken while using a PC is a PC Activity Monitoring Software.

They have 3 different purposes: The first is to remind one self of what he or she did on the PC in the past that he or she can not remember. The second is to use the monitored content as proof of some past action on the PC the user may be questioned about. The third is to spy on the PC user and collect usage data. The last is mostly used for employee monitoring on corporations and small and medium offices as well.

ScreenBackTracker is a PC Activity Monitoring software that can be used for either one of the 3 purposes it has although it is mostly directed to home use, not designed to answer for big companies demands.

ScreenBackTracker takes a compressed picture every time the user clicks the mouse. It collects these time-stamped images and all past actions can be reviewed in a slideshow format or in video format. It can run on the system tray or hidden from the user. Running it hidden is mostly used to spy on the user’s actions on the PC.
