Steganos Internet Anonym Pro is a privacy software package that offers Internet anonymity and elimination of Internet and PC tracks. The program uses various proxy servers to route your surfing, thereby changing your IP address and (apparent) geographical location frequently. A graphical world map display show the current IP address that is used, as well the location on a world map that your browser appears to come from. As with any proxy connection, the speed of your connection may suffer while your requests are routed through the anonymous servers - that is why this feature can be turned on/off easily from the system tray. In addition, the program offers an encrypted collection of Private Favorites, a built-in File Shredder (DoD, Gutmann), and an Internet Tracks eraser to delete temporary files, browsing history, cookies and more. It also includes options to disable popup windows, browser identification, referrer data and more
