✔️DNS-over-TLS

✔️Traditional DNS requests and responses are sent over TCP or UDP without encryption. Due to spoofing and conversational eavesdropping, this is a weak point (including DNS-based Internet filtering). Even though communications between recursive resolvers and authoritative name servers typically include extra security, responses from recursive resolvers to clients are the most susceptible to unauthorized or malicious alterations. Using TLS-encrypted TCP connections in accordance with RFC 7858, Google Public DNS provides DNS resolution to address these issues. The privacy and security between clients and resolvers have enhanced with DNS over TLS. This safeguards DNSSEC-validated results from being altered or manipulated when they are sent to the client in addition to DNSSEC.

✔️UDP is the foundation of a new multiplexed transport called QUIC. The benefits of QUIC, such the absence of Head-Of-Line blocking between streams, are what HTTP/3 is designed to take advantage of.

✔️The QUIC project started as an alternative to TCP+TLS+HTTP/2 with the goal of improving user experience, particularly page load times. The QUIC working group at the IETF established a clear division between the transport (QUIC) and application (HTTP/3) layers, as well as a switch from QUIC Crypto to TLS 1.3.

✔️Compared to TCP+TLS and HTTP/2, QUIC and HTTP/3 have a number of benefits.

✔️In the typical instance, 0 round trips results in a quicker time to establish connections.

✔️Head of line blocking is not present while multiplexing

✔️connection reversal

✔️Mobility of transportation an option
