For example, we used “Transparent PNG Graphics.” Graphics are bitmap images that have the background removed, which makes the graphic image appear overlapped, and laying it over the text makes it even smoother to look at.

So let us start with the card-making process, so follow the following instructions:

Before we start making the wedding card, decide which graphics to be used in the card. For this tutorial, we have used PNG graphics for making the wedding card invitations. So following are the below steps for making wedding cards with the Cricut machine:

Step 1: Upload Your Transparent PNG Graphics

Firstly, upload your transparent PNG graphics in the Design Space software. While you’re uploading the transparent PNG file, make sure you choose the Complex settings in the Cricut Design Space so that your design details are preserved. You need to select or erase anything on the page, as the Select and Erase functionality in Design Space does not work accurately. After you have uploaded your PNG image, your design background will automatically get removed. Now to save your image in the Cricut Design Space, click on “Save As A Print Then Cut Image.”

Step 2: Slice Your Graphics in Cricut Design Space

After you have uploaded your graphics into the Design Space software, you can modify your design according to your liking, like resizing, rotating, and duplicating. 1. Firstly, make a rectangle shape using the square shape tool in the Design Space. You can resize it according to your liking using the dimensions on the panel.
2. After that, select print as the fill color for the rectangle and choose the desired color of your choice.
3. Then place your rectangle onto your graphics, and cut two elements at one time. Make sure to delete extra pieces outside your rectangle region.
4. Now select all the internal white pieces from the right panel and weld the rectangular pieces together.
5. After that, rearrange all your graphics by selecting the rectangle and sending it back to the screen using the Arrange functionality on the panel.
6. Finally, compress all of your graphic pieces together.
