How Long Does StockX Take to Ship?

Similar to eBay and Vestiaire Collective, Stockx is a marketplace that essentially serves as a middleman for transactions, receiving them from the seller and authenticating the merchandise, then forwarding it to the customer. So before StockX can authenticate and ship your item, it first has to receive it from the seller, which can take a little bit of time. In most cases, your StockX order should be with you in two weeks or less, but some rare circumstances can see it take as long as a month. Here’s exactly how long it takes StockX to ship, regardless of where you are and where you’re ordering from in the world.

How Long Does StockX Take to Ship?

Most items must be shipped to StockX within three Business Days of an order being completed. It can then take three to five days for the item to arrive at one of its authentication facilities, where it can then take a further two business days to be processed, before the item is shipped out to the customer, which can take three to five business days to arrive. So on the high-end we’re looking at around 15 days, or a little over two weeks, for your StockX order to arrive if it’s being authenticated. It could arrive sooner, or take a little bit longer, depending on how fast it’s dispatched, the shipping method used, and how backed up couriers are.

However, if StockX already has the item in its warehouse, authenticated, and ready to roll, then it could be at your door in five days or less. It keeps a small selection of products on hand, including PS5 and NFT items from the StockX Vault, so don’t count on your order arriving this fast. Chances are, it’ll be with you in two weeks or less, but if it shows up much faster, this is probably why. And if it takes longer, then it’s probably coming from overseas, and that brings with it a whole world of additional checkpoints, from an international seller and courier, to customs both in the originating country and when it arrives locally.

If the item you’re ordering isn’t located in the United States, you need to bake a little more time into the process for it to be shipped internationally and pass through customs. This can take anywhere from two to 14 business days, depending on how it was shipped, whether the paperwork was filled in correctly, how busy the customs department are, and whether additional checks are needed before it can be released to StockX. The order will then be processed and authenticated and forwarded to you like normal.

And if you’re ordering from a country that doesn’t have a local authentication center, it takes even longer as the order has to first be sent (presumably internationally) to the nearest facility for it to be authenticated, and then forwarded (again, presumably internationally) to the customer. In these cases, count 14 business days each side, and two days to be authenticated, so around a month from the time the order is dispatched by the sender — and possibly a little longer if they drag their heels packaging it up and dropping it off at their local shipping station.

Does StockX Offer Expedited Shipping?

StockX does not offer expedited shipping. This is presumably due to the fact that it can’t control how fast the seller ships out the item, and has to provide it with ample time to do so. The selling element of the service is still relatively basic compared to more established marketplaces like eBay. Sellers can’t offer different shipping methods, available at different costs the the customer, and instead have to stick to StockX’s one-size-fits-all method. This means it should take around two weeks for your order to arrive, if its originating from the country you’re in, and could a month if it’s coming in from overseas.
