The best way to order an Amazon Gift Card is to delivered to the recipient in a gift box, but if you’re in a hurry and need it today, this isn’t always an option. Fortunately, some retailers have them in their physical locations, but is Walmart one of them?
Does Walmart Sell Amazon Gifts Cards?
Walmart does not sell Amazon Gift Cards. However, the retailer carries a vouchers for a host of other retailers and services including DoorDash and has Vanilla Visa Gift Cards which can be used at most places, including Amazon (if you’re creative).
The selection of Gift Cards available at each Walmart store varies depending on location — some may have these prepaid options in stock, and others may not, so consider calling ahead to see if they have what you need before heading over.
Amazon doesn’t let you add these Visa Gift Cards as a payment method for purchases on the fly, but you can be used to fund an online wallet. It does take a little bit of massaging though, so it probably isn’t the best solution for most.
Instead, we recommend heading over to one of the various retailers that do stock Amazon Gift Cards or taking advantage of one of the other solutions to either print your own Amazon Gift Card at home or send one virtually.

If you’re looking for an Amazon Gift Card at Walmart because it’s urgent and you can’t wait a day or two for it to arrive in the mail, you can order a virtual one from Amazon which can be scheduled to be delivered in moments to the recipient’s email account.
Amazon also offers a selection of print-at-home Gift Cards. You design the card online, and fund it. You’ll then receive a PDF of the gift card, which can be printed, then folded and popped into an envelope to give in person for them to redeem online.
