  • Confirm the ‘Remove EEPC’ and click on the ‘Yes’ button when the ‘This function will overwrite the Master Boot Record Continue?’. 
  • Leave the system for a while and soon you will see a notification, ‘EEPC MBR restored successfully’. 
  • Now, go to the ‘Start’, choose the ‘Power’ option and click on the ‘Restart’ button.

Start WinTech to Authenticate from Database

  • Start Windows and click on the ‘Windows’ icon. 
  • Click on the ‘Programs’ from the corners and further click on the ‘Remove’. 
  • The ‘Authorise’ window will pop up, under the ‘Enter the Authorisation Code’, provide the four digit code. 
  • To confirm the prior step, locate the ‘Authorise’ tab on the bottom-right of the screen. 
  • If you do not see the, ‘Authorised’ tab on the bottom-right corner of the screw, it means you have not entered the correct details. Crosscheck with the details. 
  • Now, go back to the ‘WinTech’ tab and drop down its options. 
  • Click on the ‘Authenticate From Database’ option. 

The prior steps will enable the tool to “authenticate” to SafeBoot so that the contents of the encrypted drive can be read. 

  • A dialog box will open, here browse the location where you want to transfer the database. 
  • Select the’ Removable Disk’ as the location for ‘.sdb file’ and click on the ‘Open’. 
  • Click on the second option and choose ‘Open’. 
  • A ‘Select Machine’ wizard will open, here you are able to select the ‘.sdb file’ below. 
  • Select the file from the upper-left corner and click on the ‘Ok’ button in the lower-right corner of the wizard. 
  • On the WinTech window, navigate towards the lower-right options and you will see ‘Authenticated’ with ‘Authorised’ options. 

The options can only be seen if you have successfully entered the ‘Authorisation code’ and signed into your SafeBoot drive.
