In the last post we will learn how to make Motor Shield V2 with 2 Stepper motors circuit in proteus. You can visit our website,
I hope you appreciate my work, let’s discuss about today’s project.

Components:

  1. Arduino UNO
  2. IC (PCA9685)
  3. IC (TB6612)
  4. DC motors
  5. Servo motor
  6. Resistors
  7. Push button
  8. LED
  9. Jumper wires

Construction…

  • Connect SCL pin of IC (PCA9685) with D19 pin of Arduino
  • Connect SDA pin of IC (PCA) with D18 pin of Arduino
  • Connect pin 23 & 25 with each other and then connect them with GND
  • Connect A0 pin of IC with VCC terminal
  • Connect A1 pin of IC with VCC terminal
  • Connect A2 pin of IC with VCC terminal
  • Connect A3 pin of IC with VCC terminal
  • Connect A4 pin of IC with VCC terminal
  • Connect A5 pin of IC with VCC terminal
  • Connect all GND terminals with common and then give –ve
  • Connect +ve terminal of servo motor with +ve
  • Connect –ve terminal of servo motor with GND
  • Connect signal terminal of servo motor with D10 pin of Arduino
  • Connect +ve terminal of 2nd servo motor with +ve
  • Connect –ve terminal of 2nd servo motor with GND
  • Connect signal terminal of 2nd servo motor with D9 pin of Arduino
  • Connect pin 19 & 20 of IC (TB6612) with each other and then give +ve
  • Connect GND pin of IC with GND
  • Connect VM1, VM2, VM3 of both ICs with each other and then connect them with +ve
  • Connect pin 1 & 2 of 1st IC (TB6612) with one side of 1st Stepper motor
  • Connect 2nd side of 1st DC motor with pin 5 & 6 of 1st IC
  • Connect pin 3, 4, 9, 10 of 1st IC with GND
  • Connect pin 7 & 8 of 1st IC with one side of 2nd DC motor
  • Connect 2nd side of 2nd DC motor with pin 11 & 12 of IC
  • Connect pin 3, 4, 9, 10 of 2nd IC with GND

Working…

The Motor Shield V2 is an Arduino shield designed to control motors and other high-current devices using an Arduino board. It is typically used with Arduino boards, such as the Arduino Uno, to control DC motors, stepper motors, and other actuators. The “motor party circuit” might refer to a party mode or a demonstration mode in which the motors on the shield operate in a fun and entertaining manner.

Applications…

  1. Robot Dance Party
  2. Animated Displays
  3. Musical Instrument Animations
  4. Kinetic Art
  5. Special Effects in Films and Theater

Advantages…

  1. Ease of Use
  2. Versatility
  3. Current Sensing
  4. Built-In Protection
  5. Stepper Motor Support
