World of Warcraft - The Secret of World of Warcraft

In World of Warcraft, there are plenty of Easter eggs and secrets to fuss over. But some of them are so deviously obtuse that no single player can solve them - so players band together via WoW's Secret Finding Discord Community and start sleuthing. Recently, a group of secret hunters found a mysterious belt named Waist of Time. It's the latest in a long line of hidden items spotted through datamining and it might be a sign that Blizzard is having some fun with its community right now. Humans and Orcs In WORLD OF WARCRAFT, human and orc races are fought over territory. You choose to be a human or an orc, and you fight for the Horde or the Alliance. Unlike in other MMOs, World of Warcraft has very strict rules that govern who you can play against. For example, only two players can play against each other over a network connection. This is because both factions are divided into separate areas, and they cannot cross over into each other's territories without causing massive bloodshed. When you first log in, you'll be asked to choose a race and class. The game has a variety of classes and weapons. The available classes include druids, priests, warriors, and paladins. One of the most important races in WORLD OF WARCRAFT is the orcs. They have been a longtime enemies of the humans and are now vying for control over Durotar. These ferocious creatures have a history of brutality and bloodshed, but their culture was once peaceful and prosperous. It was a time when orcs were not dominated by the Burning Legion's blood pact, but rather their own sense of honor. Eventually, the orcs grew tired of the enslavement and violence they had experienced under the blood pact, and they began to seek out new ways to be free. This is what led to the birth of Thrall and the Horde, which was later joined by the Forsaken. In this story, you'll meet several key characters who have come to dominate the Horde and the Alliance. These include Orgrim Doomhammer, Garona the half-orc spy, and Medivh, the most powerful magician of Azeroth. Tauren Tauren are a race of large, nomadic creatures. They are one of the oldest races on Azeroth, and have a strong attunement to nature and the elemental spirits. Their society is largely based on shamanism, and they live to maintain the delicate balance between wild animals and the restless spirits of the elements. They are the only race to have a capital city, Thunder Bluff (in Mulgore), on Azeroth. They have strong ties to the Horde and are one of their most enduring allies. Like the Night Elves, Tauren are considered to be among the oldest humanoids on Azeroth and have a strong affinity for nature. They believe they were created by the Earth Mother and swear to follow her until the end of time. The Tauren are also believed to be the descendants of the yaungol, an ancient race that awoke during the creation of the world. Like the yaungol, they have a strong connection with nature and the elemental spirits. In addition, they are regarded as powerful warriors due to their exceptional constitution, which grants them a skill bonus to herbalism and increases their base health by 25%. They also have the ability to stomp their hooves, which can briefly stun enemies. They also possess an innate resistance to Nature magic. This is thought to be the result of a long tradition of defending themselves against the elements. Many tauren carry an ancestral totem as part of their nomadic roots. This totem can represent their personal bloodline or the tribe as a whole. Traditionally, the totem is adorned with the ancestor's name and the animal they represented. For example, for the Mulgore tauren, the totem is a bear, and for the Highmountain tauren, it's an eagle. Curse of Tongues Curse of Tongues is a nifty little addon that allows you to mass translate your fellow players say, yell, party, guild, raid, battleground and even alert messages. It's not the fastest or most efficient, but it's a pretty cool feature and will give you some laughs on the fly as well as in the safety of your guild's dungeon. It also makes for a more entertaining chat box experience by displaying the name of your chosen language in big font, making it easy to see who's saying what. The biggest drawback is that it won't translate cross-faction. Hopefully Blizzard can fix this soon. Shadowfang Keep Looming over Pyrewood Village from the southern bluffs of Silverpine Forest, Shadowfang Keep casts a shadow as dark as its legacy. Sinister forces occupy these ruins, formerly the dwelling of mad archmage Arugal’s worgen. Arugal, a member of the Kirin Tor who had long struggled against the Scourge, summoned extra-dimensional entities during the Third War to bolster his growing power. When his own wizards died in battle, he turned to the ravenous worgen, enlisting them in his cause – and soon enough, the Scourge was on their way to Dalaran. Driven by guilt, Arugal retreated to his newly named ’Shadowfang Keep’. Here, he continued his work converting humans to a wolf cult. He was ultimately defeated, and the worgen were eventually driven from Azeroth. Eventually, Lord Godfrey reclaimed the keep, vying for it as a battleground between the Horde and Alliance, as well as his own personal holdfast against his enemies. He surrounded it with a cabal of erstwhile Gilnean noblemen, who plotted against their enemies both living and undead. As they enter the instance, the party can see undead patrolling the tops of the walls. They can also see Deathstalker Commander Belmont standing in front of a heavy iron portcullis emitting a sickly green glow. Once they have killed the first boss and freed their faction’s prisoner, the party will enter the courtyard. In this area, players will encounter the Shadowfang Moonwalkers and Lord Godfrey. The boss has four level 26 elite linked wolves in the room with him. It is advisable to kill the wolves before you fight him. If you fail to do so, the wolf guardians (Lupine Delusions) will spawn and aggro you. Weapon Proficiencies Weapons are an important part of WORLD OF WARCRAFT. All characters begin with a rudimentary weapon related to their class (or two for hunters). As your character level increases, you can learn additional weapon skills and gain access to new weapon types. Weapon Proficiencies are a type of skill in WORLD OF WARCRAFT that allows a character to use certain armor and weapons. Each class has a set of Weapon Proficiencies available at character creation, and some classes can train new weapon skills through Specialization selections or by visiting Weapon Masters. Each Weapon Proficiency has a weapon skill associated with it, which you can check by pressing 'k'. Some weapon skills are learned from a weapon trainer or through Specialization selection, while others require a certain level to gain proficiency with them. All classes can also equip off hand objects, which are not considered weapons. Some of these are cosmetic, but most are equipped by every class with an off hand slot and provide stat buffs. Ranged weapons are also categorized as off hand items, but they are not considered weapons in the same way. In Patch 5.0.4, all classes removed ranged weapon equipment slots. In general, thrown and ranged weapons do less damage per shot than one-handed weapons or guns, although they can still be useful for some classes. For instance, a Hunter will do more damage with a bow or crossbow than they would with a gun, and a Priest or Druid can effectively pull mobs at a distance using a throw or ranged weapon. This is an effective way to generate some threat on a single mob, but it should only be used in small numbers and with caution.
