What is Wakeupsales CRM?

Wakeupsales CRM is a Customer Relationship Management app on the cloud, that helps manage your prospects & current customers; thus growing your business. It also helps you to create & manage activities based on new opportunities around your customers or new prospects. You can manage your opportunity from start to closure in an organized manner.

Wakeupsales CRM: Core Features

Learning how to use Wakeupsales will be much easier once you understand how it’s organized. Here are the core features of Wakeupslaes Cloud CRM which help increase your productivity:

Dashboard

A sales dashboard is the section where all of your sales data are displayed in a simper visual overview. This gives you the ability to identify the areas where your assistance is needed the most. This also helps managers to provide sales reps with the coaching and sales tips they need to succeed.

  • Upcoming activities
  • Sales pipeline by stages
  • Sales pipeline by sales reps
  • Key opportunities
  • Won vs Open opportunities

Opportunities

In this section, all the opportunities which are being nurtured are listed. The list view allows you to customize which field you want to see. The opportunities can also be displayed in a sales pipeline view which helps you to handle them at different stages at any time. The sequence of each stage allows you to visually check which opportunities are in the process. You can quickly view the details of an opportunity and view the associated activities along with its total value.

An opportunity must have a contact associated with it. You can also add multiple contacts to an opportunity.

Contacts

This section allows you to manage the people with whom you do business. Each opportunity must be related to one or many contacts. A contact can also be associated with an organization. You can add basic information such as name, email and contact numbers. You can also add more information to a contact in the contact details page.

You can also create and organize the tasks & notes for a contact in the contact detail page.

Organizations

This is where all the organizations are listed with whom you do business. Organizations are especially helpful if you speak with multiple people from the same business.

Tasks

All the tasks created under a lead/opportunity, contact or an organization are listed together here. You can also add independent tasks right on this page. The calendar view of task gives you a clear view of your agenda and to-do list. You can also add comments, follow-ups to your tasks or sync your events/meetings with Google calendar from this section.

Team

Everyone in your team (including yourself) are listed here together. Manage the access levels and status of each user from one page.

Report

Gives you an idea on what’s happening in your sales account; so that you know what’s working & which areas need more of your attention.

Basic Sales Process with Wakeupsales CRM

A sales process is a set of actions which helps a salesperson to convert a possible prospect to a won customer. It may vary from business to business depending upon what they sell and who they sell to. After you sign up for an account in Wakeupsales CRM, a basic set of activities with Wakeupsales CRM could be as follows:

Define your Sales Pipeline Stages

You can define your own list of sales stages in the “Company Settings” section. Look for “Company Settings” under the header drop-down menu. Here are some of the general stages of the sales process:

  • Prospect
  • Contact initiated
  • Discovery
  • Qualified
  • Demo
  • Negotiation
  • Close (Won or Lost)

Create a New Opportunity

When you create an opportunity, Wakeupsales will create the contact if they don’t already exist. Click on the “Add Opportunity” button and enter just 3 information, opportunity title, contact name & email. It is recommended to go to the Contacts tab to enter other useful information about the contact later at your convenience.

Opportunity Detail Page

We have to open the opportunity just created and enter other useful information about the opportunity such as amount, expected close date and change the pipeline stage. You can also add notes, tasks such as call the customer or schedule a meeting. You can also add multiple contacts to an opportunity.

Opportunity Kanban View

This page views all the open opportunity in a sales pipeline stage view. Gives clear information about which opportunity is in which stage.

Manage the Files, Tasks & Notes Related to any Opportunity

On the opportunity details page, you can easily upload a new file like proposal and other documents. These files will be displayed on a separate section on this page. You can add a file by clicking on the “Actions” menu. You can also add tasks & notes to an opportunity through this section.

All the tasks, notes are listed on this page in a separate view for easy accessibility and more productivity.

Configuring SMTP Information to Send Mail

You can send an email to the associated contacts through the opportunity detail page. To send email you have to configure the SMTP information on the “Company Settings” section. Click on your name displayed at the top right corner to view the “Company Settings” menu. After this, click on the “Mail configuration”. In this page you will set your SMTP information which you can get from your email provider. Once you set this information you can send emails from the Wakeupsales CRM tool.
