Uncovering Google Drive Quota

We are all well aware that Google Drive now provides the 15 GB of drive space, that can be synced on all your PCs, Mac, and Phones. But how much of this space you can use to store your own documents?

Let's go over that a little so that you can have an idea of that!

The total of Google Drive Space can be used by 3 services of Google -

  • Drive
  • Gmail
  • Google+ Photos
A total of the space used of above makes the current space usage of given 15 GB.

Whatever data you will save in Gmail and Google+ Photos ultimately take the space from this 15 GB only, for your Google Drive space, you can use and sync following GBs
Available Space = 15 GB - Space used by Gmail - Space used by Google+ Photos
If you have used too much space in storing pics in Google+ Photos and running out of GBs, so you can remove the pics stored there. To learn how to download and remove the images from Google+ you can check this post!

I hope the information I have shared will help you. If it has helped you and you like my post, please share and comment. Also, please share your feedback with me, it will help me improve my blog and provide you with better information.
