R/2 a mainframe product was by SAP in 1979. In 1993 SAP developed R/3 that is client server application. R stands for real time data processing. It is a business Software package. Integrity is the key advantage of SAP software.

According to recent research SAP is the biggest software provider in the world. Now a days fortune 500 companies using SAP for the better control of their activities.  Main advantage of SAP is integration within the departments of company. CRM solution of SAP has around eight million users.
