Holland & Barrett UAE are proud to announce that our British franchisor, Holland & Barrett International, has recently been granted the Queen’s Award for International Trade.
The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are widely regarded as the most prestigious business awards programme in the UK. They are announced each year on the Queen’s Birthday (21st April). They celebrate the achievements of UK-based businesses which lead the way in international trade, innovation and sustainable development. The businesses represent a broad range of sectors including car manufacturing, fashion, retailing and health and wellness.
Winners in the Award for International Trade Category have a lot to demonstrate. They must show they have achieved substantial international growth in overseas earnings and commercial success within their sector. All our customers in the UAE have played a vital part in this achievement. Therefore we’re delighted to receive this highly coveted award! In addition it goes without saying that we are very grateful to you, our customers!

Under the rules of the Queen’s Award for International Trade, for the next five years Holland & Barrett will be permitted to fly the award flag from its’ UK headquarters. It will also be able to display the award emblem across a wide range of advertising and product packaging.
A formal presentation of the award and crystal bowl was made to Holland & Barrett at the European Headquarters in Nuneaton, UK. It was presented by The Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire and Queen’s Representative in June 2016. You can watch a video of this presentation and the celebrations below.
