International express problems: Failed delivery and relevant solutions

There may be some problems during shipping goods or documents by international express, especially when parcels arrive local, the problems probably occur due to recipient. Now we list some common problems and relative solutions when you ship by DHL, UPS, FedEx, etc.

Problem No.1: Failed delivery due to the unknown recipient address, or recipient has moved out, or gone out for long.

Solution No.3: The sender requests to send parcel to other recipient in the same country, and pays the freight/ tariffs by the new recipient;

Solution No.4: The sender requests to sent parcel to the recipient, and the cost charge to a third party (must get confirmation from destination apartment first);

Solution No.5: The sender requires to give up delivering and pay the freight/tariffs( depends on relevant regulations of destination countries);

Solution No.6: The sender requires to return parcel, and confirm to pay the relevant expenses/tariffs depends on relevant regulations of destination countries).

Solution No.1: After the sender communicate with the recipient, the recipient agrees to receive the parcel;

Problem No.6: Destination country customs rejects imported parcel, and the parcel must be destroyed or returned.

When the sender requires to return parcel, he must pay attention to whether he need to pay tariffs. Meanwhile, regulation scales are different for import and export, when return a parcel may generate relevant tariffs or need customs declaration.

The sender must pay attention to whether or not the parcel has a time limit for destroying.
