Alia Bhatt was the perfect South-Indian bride in the 2 States movie. She embodied simplicity and her jewellery resonated that. She wore a Gold kamarband to complement her sari, and coin and kundan gold double necklace with dangling earrings and a sleek maangtika.

Sonam Kapoor in Aisha-

So this reference is to the opening scene. Technically Sonam isn’t the bride but she might as well be. She looks like a breath of fresh air in the cream embellished lehenga, but her jewellery here is the real winner. Swaying from gold she wears a silver necklace with white stones embellished inside and dangling silver pieces. She wears matching earrings, which cover her earlobes but don’t hang too low. She finishes the look with a matching chuda. It is the definition of killing with minimalism.

Sonam Kapoor in Dolly ki Doli-

There is no way we can have only one look by this diva in a list. Sonam dazzles with so many looks in this movie, but our favourite to emulate jewellery wise would be this one. Looking like the perfect nawabi bride, she wears a long, small pearl necklace with heavy gold detailing that matches her earrings. The side pearl and gold maangtika is effortlessly elegant and looks amazing under the chunni. The tiny nose pin is perfect way to not overdo the look.

Narghis Fakhri in Rockstar-

Nargis Fakhri was a picture of perfection as a Kashmiri bride in rockstar. She wore kundan jewellery, a necklace with a single red stone in the middle and the gorgeous zardori dupatta had a clipped side maang tika to get the indigenous Kashmiri look. The gold casing for the stones give it the richness and yet a break from heavy gold jewellery.

Aishwarya Rai in Jodha Akbar-

Nothing compares to the Jodha Bai look when talking about bridal jewellery. The sheer royalty that Aishwarya exudes in this look is incomparable to anything else. The intricate kundan stone work with the gold choker necklace and the subsequent armour like gold and kundan stonework neck and collar piece scream richness. The elegant nose ring attached to the beautiful maantika just adds to the classy regal look. This is an all out look for the brides who want it all!

Deepika Padukone in Bajirao Mastani-

Well not particularly a bride in the scene, but brides went crazy trying to emulate Deepika’s Mastani look for a reason. While her clothes were commendable, it is her jewellery that took our breath away. From the beautiful and intricate nose ring to the gold with pearl work maangtika, the jewellery is any bride’s dream. But it is the haathphool that took the cake for us. Multiple golden rings will look so perfect with the mehendi on your hand!

Preity Zinta in Veer Zara-

More on the colourful side, our bubbly Preity made sure her jewellery is as exciting as her personality. This jewellery will be complementary to a suit, if you are having a temple or gurudwara wedding. The green stones and gold encased jewellery is pretty, but not too heavy. A must-try for a colourful bride!
