Each year I get a kick out of seeing which of our jewellery designs are most popular with our lovely customers in the lead up to Christmas. There are always a selection of old favourites, but they do evolve over time. And quite often there are a few outsiders that sneak up on me, along with new designs that are this year's new hotness.
Every year our deluxe sets of Christmas pudding coins are one of our biggest selling items. I'll focus on jewellery pieces below, but you should totally check out the coins: they make a really lovely gift and are a great way to add an old tradition and some fun to your Christmas dinner.
So below in no particular order are our Top 10 Best Selling Jewellery Designs for Christmas 2020 (so far):
1. Moon and back locket
One of our brand new jewellery deigns, this lovely locket is a prime candidate for gifting this Christmas. It's made in Sterling Silver and features a solid gold setting and a moonstone gem.
2. Double tulip stud earrings
Eternally one of our most popular pieces, these Rose Gold Vermeil earrings have been even more popular than ever this Christmas. Thankfully we've made a stack of extra stock to keep up! Also see the matching double tulip pendant.
3. Solid gold stacking rings set
It's unusual to have rings as one of our bestselling items at Christmas as sizing them makes them a bit tricky to gift, but 2020 has been a pretty unusual year. These sweet skinny stacking rings are made to order in solid 14ct gold. Allow extra time for pre-Christmas delivery.
4. Guiding star pendant with white sapphire
Another new jewellery design that has made the Christmas list this year. It's one of my new favourites and will make a gorgeous gift for a special woman. It's made in sterling silver and features a solid gold setting with a sparkly white sapphire gem.
5. Rose earrings in rose gold vermeil
We've been making this rose earring design for so many years now and this year the rose gold vermeil version has been racing out the door for Christmas more so than usual. There's also a sterling silver version, which also almost made the list this year.
6. Leaf chain dangle earrings
A new design from last year, these beautiful dangle earrings have been popular this Christmas, both as gifts and as a piece to wear out socialising (finally!). They're elegantly sparkly and are a lot of fun to wear. Also see the single leaf earrings.
7. Sunburst amulet pendant with citrine
Another 2020 new jewellery design has made the Christmas list. This small but stunning sunburst amulet is made in sterling silver and features a solid gold setting and a sparkly citrine gemstone. There is also a plain silver version of this pendant.
8. Guiding star drop earrings
These sparkly sterling silver drop earrings are another newbie - and they're a lovely match with the guiding star pendant above. They've been racing out the door over the Christmas shopping period. Also see the extra special sapphire version.
9. Forget-me-not earrings
I'm not sure there's been a Christmas when these earrings haven't been on the most popular list! They're one of the first designs I created to sell online many years ago and they're still just as popular as ever. The forget-me-not drop earrings are made in sterling silver.
10. Forget-me-nots on chain necklace
This version of our forget-me-nots necklace isn't quite as old as the earrings, but it has been around for many years and often makes the Christmas list: this year is no exception. The older version with a red silk necklace is also hugely popular, but this year the silver chain version is on top.
You'll find all of these beautiful jewellery designs in sterling silver, gold and gemstones (along with many others) in our online jewellery store.
