Earlier this year we traveled from our home in Australia to the USA for a month: part business and part oodles of fun. I've been sharing some of the Wonderful places we've visited. Next stop: New Orleans.

The main thing I have to say about our visit to New Orleans is that we had SO. MUCH. FUN. True story!

We drank many Fine cocktails, ate wonderful food, danced in the street, kept accidentally bumping into Mardi Gras parades, collected more beads than we could carry, marvelled at the architecture, had some excellent conversations with some excellent people ... and much more besides.

We loved New Orleans so much we found ourselves perusing the real estate listings! Not sure we'll be able to move there any time soon, but we're very much looking forward to visiting again as soon as we can manage it.
