Kilwaughter Minerals Ltd. has announced their new growth, increasing their R&D team by 50%. This growth comes after rapidly increasing demand for Kilwaughter products. This growth comes as part of a long term strategic investment in innovation totaling £3.4 million.
Kilwaughter is a quarry and mineral processor whose work focuses on specific industries including construction, industry & agriculture and landscaping. They consist of two brands – K Rend and Kilwaughter Lime. K Rend is the UK and Ireland’s largest independent silicone render manufacturer.
Three of the new R&D members are PhD scientists. They will help boost innovation as the company strives to meet this newly increased and sustained demand. Their focus will shift to scaling as well as developing new high performance technologies.
