Mi Notebook Pro Specifications and Features

The Mi Notebook Pro is one of the first to be powered by the 8th-generation Intel Core i7 processor. It has two fans for cooling. According to Xiaomi, the new cooling system moves around 40 percent more air in the Mi Notebook Pro. To this specification, users can only hope that the laptop offers doesn’t make much noise. The laptop comes with a 15.6-inch screen, with a Gorilla glass 3 layers. The laptop screen has a color gamut of 72 percent of NTSC color space. The laptop has an all-metal chassis, similar to the MacBook Pro. It also has a large touchpad and a full sized keyboard. The laptop weighs 1.9 kg. It has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the touchpad, and this is a unique feature not found in other laptops. The Mi Notebook pro has a 19 percent larger keyboard area when compared to the MacBook Pro. The keys are backlit. The Mi Notebook Pro supports Dolby Sound and the laptop also has a 3 in 1 card reader, full-sized HDMI, and USB 3.0 ports.

The Mi Notebook Pro is powered by Windows 10 although there might be some special software feature the Xiaomi has put in the laptop. The Mi Notebook Pro is available in three variants: Core i5 with 8GB RAM, Core i7 with 8GB RAM, and Core i7 with 16GB RAM. All the three variants supposedly have a 256GB SSD as internal storage and a Nevada GeForce MX150 graphics card.

Mi Notebook Pro Launch and Price in India

The sad part about this is Xiaomi might not launch the laptop in India. In China, the device is going to be available at three prices for the three variants. The Core i7 with 8GB RAM would cost around 63,000 rupees; the Core i7 with 16GB RAM would cost around 68,000 rupees and the core i5 with 8GB RAM would cost around rupees 54,000.
