Electricty and Gas Prices will be going up from this Sunday.  Electricity Prices will Rise by 3.95% and gas by 2.26%, which is another kick in the teeth for hard pressed families in Spain.

Electricity prices will rise for the second time this year, after a 7% increase in April this year.  This will be the third rise in gas prices this year after the 0.5% rise in January and 5% rise in April.

These rises relate to the Tarifa de Último Recurso (TUR).
