We were recently in Almeria on holiday and were blown away by how good the tapas were there.  I have travelled all over Spain and for me, Almeria has the best tapas. The portions were absolutely massive and best of all, they came free with every drink we ordered.  Basically when you order a drink, you will then we given a choice of different tapas.  Wherever we went, there was a choice of at least 8 different ones.

When I say free, they aren't really free because the drinks are a bit more expensive than you would usually pay.  I pay €1.50 for a tubo in Malaga province.  Where we were in Almeria (just outside of Almeria city) we were paying €2.50 for a tubo in the chiringuitos.  So still great value for a beer and a massive tapas.  Here are some snaps of the tapas I had.  My favourite was the octopus (pulpo).
