New Mercadona beer made according to the German Beer Purity Law - 6 bottles for only €3.45

Mecradona have a lovely new Beer under their Steinburg brand.  It is a beer made according to the German Beer Purification Law.  They are sold in 6 packs of half litre bottles, and only cost €3.45, which is excellent value for money, especially considering how good it tastes. This works out at €1.15 per litre.  This is a lot cheaper than the leading brands such as Cruzcampo and San Miguel, and is far superior in my opinion, even though it is Mercadona own brand.

With it being brewed according to the German Beer Purification law, it doesn't contain any added crap.  According to Wikipedia, a beer conforming to this law has to conform to the following:

In the original text, the only ingredients that could be used in the production of beer were water, barley and hops. The law also set the price of beer at 1-2 Pfennig per Maß. The Reinheitsgebot is no longer part of German law: it has been replaced by the Provisional German Beer Law, [2] which allows constituent components prohibited in the Reinheitsgebot, such as yeast, wheat malt and cane sugar, but which no longer allows unmalted barley.
