  • Cleans ink off most vinyl and painted surfaces
  • Gently cleans heavy grease and oil from the skin and nonporous surfaces
  • Rub on brass ornaments or figurines to help keep them from turning dark
  • Removes crayon from appliances and most painted surfaces
  • Mix into your cleaning water to wash cupboards to keep ants off and out of the cupboards
  • Use to clean leather. Keeps it soft and supple too
  • Use to cleans paintbrushes easily, leaves them soft as new
  • Removes gum from carpets
  • Use on running rails for sliding glass doors and windows
  • Removes candle wax from furniture, carpets, and clothing
  • Removes sticky labels form jars
  • Spray bath oil inside garbage cans, it will keep bugs and maggots away all summer
  • Great furniture polish for real wood
  • Cuts grease to clean the dirt from range hoods
  • Removes crayon from most surfaces
  • Spray into the air as a deodorizer and let settle. Do not use over wood or tile flooring as it could cause slippery spots!
  • Rub on hands before and after working with pets and farm animals. It can keep strong smells at bay.
  • Use as a tire conditioner after washing your car to keep the tires looking like new
  • Nicely cleans and shines vinyl surfaces inside your car
  • Put some on a small washcloth and leave in the car to help keep the air fresh and clean

Laundry:

  • If a child wets the bed, spray bath oil on the bedding and sheets before washing. It will give it a fresh clean smell.
  • Add a capful to laundry water as a fabric softener
  • Removes “ring around the collar”

Lawn and Garden:

  • Spray on rose bushes to keep the deer from eating them
  • Spray on flowers (cut or on the planted bush) for added moisture and to keep bugs away
  • Mix one part bath oil with two parts water and spray on tomato plants to keep bugs off. Spray plants about every 2 or 3 days.
  • Spray directly on earwigs, spiders, and ants to kill them

Camping:

  • Spray bath oil around the outside of the tent door to keep mosquitos away

Pet Care:

  • Mix one cup bath oil, 1/2 cup of liquid detergent with three gallons of water to make a black fly spray or dip for dogs
  • Use bath oil to clean off dog’s feet of any tar or asphalt on the pads of can be with SSS. Wipe the oil off after use.
  • Wash dog as normal and rinse so no soap residue is left. On the final rinse, use a mix of 2 gallons of water and 1 capful of bath oil mixed as to help repel fleas and tick. Original Bath Oil also helps replace the oils lost in bathing with the added benefit of repelling insects.
  • For Horses and Dogs: Mix in a spray bottle, one cup of Avon bath oil, one cup of white vinegar, a squirt of Ivory liquid soap and 20 ounces of water. Use the following as necessary.
  • Rub on your hands before and after working with pets and farm animals, it will remove pet odor
  • Can be an inexpensive fly control spray in the barn. Spray a diluted mix of bath oil and water on barn walls and floor to discourage insects from hanging around or to eliminate them before putting in the new bedding. As time permits, let the barn stand and air out before re-filling with bedding and animals.
  • Rub bath oil into your cat’s skin to help with flea problems and flea allergies.
  • Can be used as a hoof polish on horses. Puts a nice shine to the hoof without drying it.
  • Also can be used on horses as a muzzle, eye, and ear enhancer and helps keep bugs away
  • Horses can have allergies and get dry skin. After the normal bath, add a capful of bath oil to a five-gallon bucket of warm water and sponge all over. Coat dries silky soft and should quit itching!
