It’s vital when traveling as a family you factor in plenty of fun for the little ones, to keep them occupied and to avoid tantrums! Of course, keeping your child active and focused on fun during the day will also ensure a better night’s sleep when evening rolls around.

So, for your upcoming Miami trip, be sure to check out these fantastic child-friendly activities.

PHILLIP & PATRICIA FROST MUSEUM OF SCIENCE

In this huge museum, Children won’t feel like they’re learning, which is the ideal blend! Packed with hands-on, interactive fun, children can learn about the human body, the underwater world, and everything you can think of related to science. It’s a full day out and adults will love it too!

MIAMI CHILDREN’S MUSEUM

A museum especially for children is the ideal spot to spend a few hours and here your little ones will be able to explore with total freedom. The best thing about this museum is that it allows your children to explore the adult world in miniature form. Check out the tiny shops and banks! Local schools often take their classes here for day excursions and that’s for a very good and educational reason.

TIDAL COVE

Located at Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa, this huge waterpark will certainly be a hit with your little ones and spans a huge 4000 square feet. Suitable for children of all ages, there are rides, splash slides, and even a lazy river. This is certainly a full day out and one which will tire out your little ones.

If you have small children, Matheson Hammock Park is a good choice in terms of water safety but you won’t struggle to find a sandy spot with plenty of fun to keep everyone occupied throughout the day.
