The holidays have come and gone in the blink of an eye. Which means (dun, dun, dun)…wedding season will soon be upon us! And you don’t want to be stuck without some great Gift ideas. We all know that, for some, money is the top gift of choice but there are plenty of suitable gift options out there that are a little more personal and heartfelt. I’m going to talk about three great wedding gifts that the couple receiving will absolutely love!
I personally think this first gift idea is the best and very practical. You can’t go wrong with personalized Wine glasses. Whether it’s a date night in or after a long day at work, a glass of wine is almost always necessary (at least for me it is). What better way to wind down than with your feet up enjoying a delicious glass of wine and what better way to enjoy that wine than by drinking it out of a wine glass made especially for you. I truly love having the wine glasses engraved with Mr. and Mrs. or any variation of that. It always struck me as very classy and timeless. I’m not a big fan of bride and groom engravings (even though it’s also a good choice) because I always felt it speaks more for the occasion and not for the longevity of the union. My wedding champagne flutes were engraved with Mr. and Mrs. and I still loving using them till this day. I can guarantee with happy couple will not be disappointed with a beautiful set of engraved wine glasses. And if you have a couple that’s more apt to drink the hard stuff, there is always a rocks glass. I love these personalized whiskey glasses.
To follow up our first gift idea, I also love a beautiful wine box. This wine box is absolutely gorgeous and will stand the test of time just the way a marriage should. I love this gift idea because it’s a beautifully crafted wooden box and a great way to store an important bottle of wine. For example, if the couple is gifted an expensive bottle of wine and the gifters suggestion is to enjoy it on a special occasion such as a new home purchase or the birth of a child, then you don’t want to just throw it in a wine rack. It needs a special place to be stored until it’s ready to be enjoyed. That special place would be a wine box. And again, the wonderful thing about this it can be personalized or tailored to the lucky couple.
The last gift I wanted to mention is a set of personalized coasters because they are also super practical. Everyone needs a set of nice coasters because who wants to ruin their West Elm mid-century coffee table?! I love how these coasters can be personalized with the wedding details and photos. Everyday life often gets in the way of remembering special moments. The mundane, the routine, the busyness – sometimes we forget to stop and appreciate the joyous moments that have led us up until this point. It’s so nice to have a small daily reminder and that is what these personalized coasters will do.
In the totality of weddings, gifts are just a small part but still a special one. There are so many ideas, but I truly feel the above mentioned are a home run for any couple.
