Daiso Makeup Haul | RM

The sun was really bright outside, but the air was just right. It was like spring here in the Philippines, and I quite like it. I’ve never been a fan of winter, so I mostly don’t stay in Japan during Christmas.

I went to our local mall to buy some things that I know that I wouldn’t so I figured, I’d just do a makeup haul at Daiso. I never fancy using cheap makeups due to the chemicals, but I know things from Daiso are safe.

Products:

  1. Princess Liquid Eyeliner
  2. Princess Duo Color Cheek
  3. One Natural Sheabutter Lip Balm
  4. BB Cream – Natural Beige
  5. Nose Shadow – Dirty White & Chocolate Brown
  6. Princess Volume Mascara
  7. Eyebrow Gel
  8. Dark Brown Eyebrow

It comes in a small container. Kinda similar to Rosebud lipbalm.

This smells so good. It has a similar smell to one of my products from either thefaceshop or TonyMoly. My lips were kinda dry earlier because of the wind, so I used this product, and it was really great. It moisturized my lips.

Nose Shadow is just like what the name is. It’s for highlighting your nose and contouring it. I haven’t tried this on my face yet, but I did swatch them on my fingers so you guys would know how pigmented it is.

It’s really pigmented so a little of this product already goes a long way.

Princess Volume Mascara; this product has a similar texture to Maybelline’s VolumExpress Hypercurl Mascara. Also, one of the good things about this mascara is that it doesn’t smudge and it’s easily removed.

BB Face Cream; is very liquidy, almost not cream, despite being named “face cream.” And it doesn’t cover up compared to other BB creams, but what do you expect from a hundred yen store, right? ( Lol. )

What I like about this is that, it feels really light, gives you a very natural look and the longevity is average.

I’ve tried this one before, and I don’t have any cons to say about this product. It works the same as your ordinary liquid liner.

Eyebrow Gel; it works like your regular eyebrow gel. It gives you the smooth eyebrow look, though, what bothers me is the texture.

It’s very liquidy, but I’m not sure if that’s the usual texture of eyebrow gels as I’ve never really used those before.

The packaging is similar to thefaceshop eyebrow pencil but what bothered me a lot is that there was no name written aside from where it was made and other notes.

Princess Duo Color Cheek; I like the packaging. It gives that fancy feeling to it. It has a matte and glittery powdered blush. I guess the glittery one gives the highlight effect. It’s quite nice.

Here’s the swatches.

Overall, it’s quite nice to shop at hundred yen, or as you call it in Western, dollar stores. Especially when you’re on the go, and you don’t have any cash with you. Some of the products work the same as your ordinary product.
