Quick and Easy Galentine’s (Valentine’s) Candy Buffet with The Candy Club

I love celebrating Valentine's Day with my boyfriend but I also love to make a special effort to celebrate Valentine's Day with my girls! I love decorating for parties and the biggest hit at my parties are always a decadent Candy buffet.

I love Candy Club for the ultimate subscription to high quality candy every single month. As some of you know I absolutely love subscription boxes of all kinds. I love going to my mailbox and having the feeling of getting presents in the mail all the time.

There are new candies being added each month, of all kinds, chewy, gummy, sour, chocolate, and more!

Here's how it works!

You can either choose to be surprised by 3lbs of candy every month (oh my!), featuring three different kinds of candies, or you can choose the three different candies that you would like to receive. I am a sour candy freak so I opted to choose my own candies. There's also a sample splash of candies included in each box so you can try out new flavors!

Candy buffets can get super pricey to set up so here's my quick and easy DIY Candy Buffet tutorial!

Quick and Easy Galentine's Day Candy Buffet Tutorial

1. Send out your Invitations

To start off, you'll want to create the invites for the event. Below is a sample of the invitation that I used for me last event. Click on the link for a downloadable template that you can use for your very own Galentine's Day celebration.

2. Select your color scheme

Your candy buffet will look most legit if you select a very specific color scheme. I ended up choosing a red color scheme with some other pops of color.

3. Choose your treats

Now is the fun part and the world is your oyster! In general, you want about 4 ounces of candy per guest, so if you have 10 guests coming, you would need about 2.5 pounds. Just one month's of subscription to Candy Club would more than cover you for a party of 10!

You can also add other fun goodies such as cupcakes, cookies, donuts, cake pops, macarons, marshmallows and more!

4. Decorate your table

I go to my nearby dollar store to get all my supplies for the event. I got everything I need for under $50 bucks which is pretty amazing! I like to use glass containers personally, here are some ideas of what you may need.

Containers

  • Mason Jars
  • Cupcake Stands
  • Platters
  • Themed Boxes
  • Bowls

Decorations

  • Tableclothes
  • Signs
  • Tags
  • Ribbons
  • Tissue Paper
  • Balloons
  • Gift Bags
  • Bows
  • Scoops/Tongs
  • Banners

And there you go! Make sure to take tons of photos of your delicious creation!
