Feel-Good Music Tuesday

Today is my zen day. I'm gonna work on the computer, make tea, listen to some happy Music and smile alot. Hopefully this will bring labour on. *fingers crossed*

Feist - I Feel It All

This song is on constant repeat on my ipod at this time. I can't get enough of it. The video is once again another Patrick Daughters creation (he also directed the videos for Mushaboom and My Moon, My Man). It's absolutely gorgeous. If it doesn't make you smile, you're a cruel, cold-hearted scrooge.

Britt Daniel, Spoon front man, did a pretty awesome remix of the song. It doesn't sound too different from the original but the beat's pretty cool.

M.I.A. - Paper Planes

This is for Sau Yee. I never really took to this song much till your shoutbox comment. Now, I can't get enough of it. The video only makes the song better. :) Thanks, girl!

Moldy Peaches - Anyone Else But You

Those who have seen Juno (it opened here last week) will recognize this gem as that cute little ditty Ellen Page and Michael Cera duet-ed at the close of the film. Here's the original soundtrack version by the Moldy Peaches. Real cute. The interview at the end of the performance mentions Kimya Dawson working on her 6th solo album. It's called Alphabutt and it's for kids. I'll probably try to get a copy of it for the baby. I'm sure it's mad cute. Here is a video of her singing the title track if you're interested in listening to it.

Lastly, some linkage for you:

That's all for now, folks! Have a great day wherever you are!
