I find the overuse of the word Slut hysterical. Back in the day, the word “slut” was slung at women who fucked around a lot. Now, if you don’t like a woman or ANYTHING she does, she’s a slut. The word has lost it’s zing. It’s also used for damage. If a woman dresses or acts counter to what some deem acceptable, she’s a “slut” and deserves whatever violence visited against her. In my world, I claim the title.

I’ve owned that word for awhile, because I have defined it for myself. In my perv dictionary, a “slut” is a man or woman who enjoys sex safely with no guilt or shame, in whatever excess they desire. Yes, men can be sluts too. I guarantee, using my definition, you know (or are) male sluts. With my version of slut, sex is for recreation, fun, and self esteem building. It’s not a weapon. Slut is also for honesty. We all know people who use sex for gain, these are not my kind of Sluts. I enjoy sex outside my open marriage, using all safe sex precautions. I don’t fuck to hurt, or embarrass. Thus, I’m a Slut.

Our society works hard to control women’s sexuality for so long, it’s just now that women are stepping out of the negative slut shadow. I decree that slut shaming is verboten! Be proud you have the courage to enjoy the pleasure your body is capable of. Seek out members of the Slut tribe to support. The reclamation has to begin somewhere, so let it start now!
