California Lawyer wants to make killing gays the law

Matt Mclaughlin, apparently a currently licensed attorney in California, has paid his $200 to submit a ballot Initiative to the State Department of Justice that would make the Mass Killing of gays and lesbians the law in the state.  According to Mr. McLaughlin, homosexuals should be killed by firing squad. He calls his initiative the "Sodomite Suppression Act", and you can read it for yourself.

He of course touts his Christian beliefs as his reasoning and justification for the mass killing of every gay, lesbian, trans person in the state of California.

Notice that it;s not the "Sodomy" suppression act, but the "Sodomite" suppression act.  It's not the act itself that he wants to stamp out.  It's the the individuals themselves, and he wants them killed.

Apparently Mr. McLaughlin isn't aware that since "Lawrence v Texas" act of homosexual love itself is legal in all 50 states, and no initiative in a single state can change that.  He is advocating the systematic murder of hundreds of thousands of law abiding citizens of the state of California, and he's doing this in the name of his Religion - Christianity.

You can read a more in depth explanation about the initiative, and the man here

I have always made my disdain for organized religion's hate filled attacks on us pretty clear.  I am the strongest of advocates for a total separation of church and state because the power that religion wields is massive, and the damage that they continue to do LGBT people, especially youth, is just sad.  If religious organizations are going to use their power politically, they should lose their tax exempt status.  To me, what he is proposing is no less horrifying than the mass murder of Jews, or Muslims, or the disabled, or any other group of people that don't fit into her personal idea of being worthy to exist.

It's simple people.  Your personal beliefs, religion, and opinions deserve EXACTLY the same consideration and respect as you give to other's.
