I know you expect your six-year-old son to communicate like that when you ask why he was fighting with his brother. Except in this case, it's a seventy-year-old man feuding with another adult. Intelligent and emotionally well adjusted adults don't speak or fight that way.
Smarter than a fifth grader? Politico.com analyzed Donald Trump's debate performances and concluded that he had the vocabulary of a third-grader. Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University studied Trump's communication skills, vocabulary, and performances on televison, and they found that Trump's grammar and vocabulary was consistent with a fifth-grader.
So is Donald Trump smarter than a fifth-grader? Nope.

While it might look like I gave up blogging, nothing could be further from the truth. At some point very soon the name of the blog and the blog posts will be moving to a new domain name. When I decided to undertake this project, I thought it would be easy and quick, and I was wrong big time! I’m going to spare you the details for now, but it’s a tremendous amount of work. Nearly one thousand blog posts have to be rewritten and reformatted. I have to review every link, re-post every blog entry and redesign a brand new site. I hope to finish up very soon.
In the meantime, I’ve written a few pieces for Medium and have embedded the articles below for you to check out. I’ve also been busy calling and writing governors and state legislators to lobby against the phony religious freedom bills and anti-LGBT legislation that is consuming red-state legislatures all over the country.
