Flu Season is Here! Here are some tips..

Flu season is here. You know what that means –  aching bodies, scratchy throats , and that tired and run down feeling.    So this year let’s get ahead of the flu season and make sure the entire family stays at their very best!

I am so grateful to have a wide spectrum of patients and who are pro-active about their health and wellness.   Whether you like the more holistic approach or  you are a firm believer in traditional western medicine, I have 3 options for you on how to prevent the flu this season.

Prevent the Flu :

Option 1:   Boost your Immune system !  One great way is to start our VITAMIN B COMPLEX injections.  The injection is full of immune boosting abilities and you get all the “B’s”. Vitamin B has also been known to help reduce stress, inflammation, and also give you an uplifting mood.   You can download the Consent form here.   (this is for adults only)

Option 2:  Attend a very informative presentation on how to get the WHOLE family feeling better.  Take preventative action NOW against our daily environmental stressors, that cause us to get sick, feel fatigued, and wreck havoc on our immune systems.   I will have information on WIFI protection,  Super Hydration water and lot’s of other beneficial information.   Click on the flyer below for the date and location.

Option 3:   Get Your Flu Shot.  If you choose the Flu Vaccine, we now have it available in the office.  I do recommend the flu vaccine for certain people – those who are at high risk, such as health care providers, women over 65, or those taking care of small children.  Please call the office to schedule an appointment.  Feel free to download and sign the consent form, below,  before you come to the office.

Additional Tips to keep the flu away:

  • Wash Your hands; especially after handling items at public markets, restaurants & restrooms.
  • Get your ZZZZ’s.   Make sure to get at least 7 hrs of sleep daily. Try for uninterrupted sleep.  Turn off cell phones or put on vibrate.
  • Eat a well balanced diet.   Your meals should have color and vibrancy. Choose vegetables in season,  and try something new!
  • Get some fresh air.  The nights are getting cooler. Go for a walk,  clear your mind, enjoy the beautiful changes of the season.
