An article in today's Globe and Mail (www.theglobeandmail.com) highlights a Study with important findings. Apparently a study by retail consultant J.C. Williams Group has found that online shoppers are more satisfied than those that shop in the traditional way - in stores.
The authors' advice to retailers: "Clear and frequent communications, and the use of credit verification services will reassure inexperienced Web shoppers."
Furthermore, the study also concluded that in some sectors particularly, the on-line experience has a big influence on off-line shopping: in the automobile, appliances, furniture, home goods and garden retail industries.
